What is the difference with P2ALS and IamIP?

The IamIP platform was previously named P2ALS, but in 2017 the name of the platform was changed to IamIP. Today “P2ALS” is referred to as “IamIP”, “The IamIP Platform”, or simply “The Platform”.

I forgot my password. How can I receive a new one?

If you have forgotten your password you can receive a new one by going to the IamIP login that is located at the top right of the IamIP homepage. After clicking on “Login” you can click on “Forgot password?”. In the following window you need to enter your user name or the e-mail address that you have used for signing up to IamIP and a new e-mail containing a link for resetting your password will be sent to your e-mail address.

How can I change my password?

You can change your password at any time by using the same procedure as the one that is required when you have forgotten your password. Therefore, you need to go to the IamIP login that is located at the top right of the IamIP homepage. After clicking on “Log in” you can click on “Forgot password?” at the bottom right of the new pop up window. In the following window you need to enter your user name or the e-mail address that you have used for signing up to IamIP and a new e-mail containing a link for resetting your password will be send to your e-mail address. Is IamIP and the data I am storing in IamIP secure?

In order to secure your personal information and guard against unauthorized access, access to your data in the IamIP platform is password protected, and your personally identifiable information is encrypted. Additionally, all IamIP content is protected by a firewall from sophisticated exploits and worms and provides an easy and secure remote access to the users by utilizing encrypted, secure tunnels. There is a secure transfer with 256-bit SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption. Additionally, the IamIP server, which is located in Sweden, has a protection against cross-site request forgery (CSRF).

With what kind of devices and web browsers can I use IamIP?

Due to the deployment of IamIP in a cloud based form it can be accessed from any device that can connect to the internet and has a web browser installed. Thus, besides using IamIP with your laptop or PCs it is i.e. possible to use it with your tablet or your smart phone. Furthermore, it is possible to use IamIP with different web browser. During the development, IamIP has been tested and verified with Google Chrome, Internet Explorer and Firefox. Although not tested and verified on other web browsers IamIP may still be compatible with those as well.

What kind of Internet connection do I need for using IamIP?

Due to the fact that the majority of processes are executed and calculated by the IamIP server, the data transferred between the IamIP server and your local computer is quite limited, leading as well to low requirements for your Internet connection. For a smooth and stable usage of IamIP, a minimal Internet connection of 2 Mbit/s is recommended.

Can I access and use IamIP from different locations?

Yes, IamIP is a cloud based software tool that does not require any installation efforts on your local computer and stores all your data on the IamIP secure server. You can log in to IamIP from any location at any time.

Is my stored data deleted after an expiration of my IamIP license?

After the expiration of your license all your data will be stored for 12 more months before it will be finally deleted. Before the final deletion of your data you will receive an automated mail reminding you about the upcoming deletion of your data. In this way you will still have the possibility to reactivate your account in time and save your data.
